FAQ
Where are you based and how far will you travel?
I’m based in Frankfurt am Main, Germany. However, since I absolutely love destination weddings, I am more than willing to travel all over Germany, Europe and even overseas to narrate your distinct story.
If the event is taking place up to 100km around Frankfurt, I don’t charge my clients for travel expenses, but for every additional kilometre over a 100, I charge 0.40€. On an hourly basis, I charge an additional amount of 35€/travel hour.
My destination wedding packages include the cost of traveling and accommodation.
How can we book you?

The process is very simple. Once I have talked about your wedding and the necessary details, I ask you to fill up an agreement form. Next, you have to deposit a retainer. Finally, a month before the wedding, I’ll invoice you for the final payment.
And that’s it! A simple process to ensure that I’ll be there with my camera on your special day.
How far in advance do we need to book you?
One word – ASAP!
Nowadays, booking your wedding photographer is one of the first things couples do. I’ve had clients book us even a year in advance. If you’re planning on having your wedding on a Saturday or a peak month, the earlier you book us, the better. Even if you’re having your wedding on a weekday during the months November-March (off-season), I would still suggest you book us 6-8 months in advance.
If you’ve decided on hiring us (yay!), I suggest you don’t waste even a second to book your slot. Don’t wait and risk the chance of being turned down because somebody else booked us first. I really would hate that.
What happens if you're sick on my wedding day?
Fortunately, I’ve never been sick enough to miss a wedding. Even on my down days, just the thought of being able to meet beautiful people and photograph them gets me feeling better!
However, I understand that this could be an unfortunate possibility, which is why I include this condition in my agreement. In case I am unable to cover your wedding – whatever the reason – I offer you 100% assurance that I will find a photographer of a similar style and ability to cover for me.
How long does it take to receive my wedding photographs?
Since I pay attention to detail during the editing process to make sure that your pictures look and feel great for years to come, completion generally takes around 4-6 weeks. All the selected photos are rendered in high resolution quality. I also remove the watermark from my pictures, as I understand that it looks quite unnatural and ruins the photo’s natural vibe.
How many photos will we receive?
Generally, I would say the average number is 400-500 photos, but it also depends on the duration of your wedding. If you have a lot of festivities planned for your wedding day, or a lot of guests, the photos can be 600+. My aim is to make sure that I cover all the intimate moments and special people gathered for your big day, even if it means capturing more pictures.
We would love to make a portrait shoot on the wedding day. Is this possible?
Of course! My wedding package includes a couple’s portrait shoot. The couple is the most significant part of a wedding, so I give great importance to the portrait shoot and make sure it turns out perfect.
Depending on the couple’s demands, I usually schedule the shoot during the after ceremony or cocktail hour, when spirits are high and carefree. I also love capturing a few shots during reception hours, when the golden hour is at its peak and the emotions are running wild.
I understand that the couple can’t be away from their guests for too long, so I make sure that the shoot takes only around 30-60 minutes. This gives me just enough time to get my couple comfortable around the camera, and it also gives them some time away from everybody to share some intimate moments with each other.
Do you do group photographs?
Yes! What’s a wedding album without fun, chaotic group photos featuring the couple’s loved ones? Prior to the wedding, I meet up with my clients to decide the timeline for this, and I also suggest that they prepare a list for group photos with a family member or friend. That way, on the wedding day, I already know who to photograph and which location to go to.
I hate the idea of being filmed. Will this affect the wedding film?
Not at all. This is completely understandable. I’ve photographed couples who are really camera-shy, and their films have come out phenomenal.
Prior to the wedding, I meet up with my clients to get to know them. This allows them to unwind and connect with me, which makes it a little easier for them to be filmed and photographed by me on the wedding day.
Clients also often get intimidated with huge tripods or fluffy microphones. Therefore, I use equipment that is small and easy to the eye. Don’t worry, that doesn’t affect the quality. My cameras are of the best quality and capture nothing less than high-resolution images.
Furthermore, my wedding films are documentary styled. Luckily for you, the last thing I want to capture are posed, rigid images. I look for candid, beautiful emotions and sentiments. Your job is to enjoy your special day, and my job is to capture every moment with elegance.
How long will our wedding film be?
Generally, I produce a trailer or wedding highlights video, which is about 45 seconds – 1 minute long. Along with this, I provide a short film of about 8 - 10 minutes. However, if you wish, I could produce a longer video at an additional cost, including all the speeches and ceremonial moments.
When will we receive our wedding films?
I understand that you are eagerly waiting for your wedding film, which is why I try my best to get your film ready within two months. However, this could be affected by my booking schedule and the time of the year.
Do you work alone?
Usually, yes. But if need be, a second camera person or assistant can also be arranged.
However, if you hire me for photography as well as videography services, a team is required. Don’t worry though; I understand that a wedding is an intimate affair, which is why my team consists of a maximum of three people.
